It is believed to be located at a distance of about 50,000 to 200,000 AU (1 AU is the average distance from the Earth to the Sun) from the Sun.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Oort cloud&#8217;s presence has not been directly observed, but it is considered to be the source of long-period comets spotted entering the inner solar system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is the reason for the Green color?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18.5px; text-align: justify;\"\n>Laboratory&nbsp;research&nbsp;has&nbsp;linked this green glow to a reactive molecule called dicarbon that is found in the comet&#8217;s head and gives off green light when broken down by sunlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18.5px; text-align: justify;\"\n>Even though there is no set time to see the green-glow comet, it is most likely to be best on February 1 and 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/explained\/explained-sci-tech\/green-comet-close-to-earth-details-date-time-8401036\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IE<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is Oort cloud?
