This therapy works well for most people (90% of the time). This therapy has been approved for leukemias and lymphomas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:13px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Procedure<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>T cells are taken from a patient\u2019s blood.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gene that binds to a certain protein on the patient\u2019s cancer cells is added to the T cells in the laboratory.
