Recently, Elon Musk\u2019s Starlink lost up to 40 of the 49 satellites due to a <a href=\"https:\/\/polscienceweb.com\/index.php\/portfolio\/geomagnetic-storm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">geomagnetic storm<\/a> a day after they were launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Muse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">The MUSE mission will help scientists understand the forces driving the <strong>heating of the Sun\u2019s corona and the eruptions in that outermost region<\/strong> (such as flares and coronal mass ejections) that are at the foundation of space weather.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">The mission will provide greater insight into the solar atmosphere. It will observe the Sun&#8217;s extreme ultraviolet radiation with a powerful instrument known as a multi-slit spectrometer. Further, it will obtain the highest resolution images of the solar transition region and the corona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About HelioSwarm<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">The HelioSwarm mission is a <strong>constellation or \u201cswarm\u201d of nine spacecraft <\/strong>that will <strong>capture<\/strong> fluctuations in the <strong>magnetic field <\/strong>and motions of the solar wind<strong> <\/strong>known as <strong>solar wind turbulence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">The <strong>heliosphere<\/strong>, the Sun&#8217;s outermost atmosphere layer, covers a vast region of the solar system. Solar winds spread through the heliosphere. Each small satellite will be in radio communication with the hub spaceship.
