It was part of the global response to the alleged war crimes in Bucha, a town outside Kyiv, where more than 300 civilian remains were discovered after Russian forces withdrew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">The Human Rights Council is a body within the UN that is responsible for promoting and protecting human rights around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, each elected member of UNHRC serves for three years (the Council is made up of 47 UN Member States).
