This hides the Moon from the direct sunlight. When this happens, the only light reaching the Moon&#8217;s surface is from the edges of the Earth&#8217;s atmosphere. The air molecules from Earth&#8217;s atmosphere scatter out most blue light. The remaining light reflects onto the Moon&#8217;s surface with a red glow, making the Moon appear red in the night sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">The more dust or clouds in Earth&#8217;s atmosphere during the eclipse, the redder the Moon will appear. It is called &#8220;Blood Moon.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is Super Blood Moon?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">Two celestial events- the Supermoon and a total lunar eclipse- are observed together, giving rise to a phenomenon also known as a Super Blood Moon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-verse\" style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: justify;\">A supermoon occurs when the Moon&#8217;s orbit is closest to the Earth and at the same time it is full Moon.
